Nancy Wright was sitting in her Rheumatologist's waiting room listening to arthritis
sufferer's talk about the success they were having with their therapy at ARC Physical
Therapy and Pain Center. As she was listening to their positive declarations about
their pain diminishing, she was inspired to start a conversation with her doctor
about her own pain management options. After treating her rheumatoid arthritis with
low level medications, Nancy and her Dr. decided to incorporate therapy at ARC.
Nancy had pain in her lower back that was restricting her stamina for such activities
like gardening, housecleaning, walking, biking and kayaking. Nancy received multiple
types of treatment including, physical therapy, acupuncture, micro-current acupuncture,
cupping, ultra-sound, and massage in order to get her back to her activities. Nancy
was very impressed with the staff at ARC Physical Therapy and Pain Center. Nancy
said that the staff was very informative and showed a high level of expertise. She
was happy that the staff was willing to try a variety of treatments until they were
satisfied that they found the most effective ones for her condition and recovery.
When Nancy began her therapy her pain was at a level 7 out of 10. She is now down
to a 1 out of 10. Nancy has learned a lot about her body and better ways to do things
since she started with her therapy. Her stamina has increased due to the pain decreasing
and she is very excited to resume some of the more fun activities she has been avoiding.
Nancy is hoping that her husband comes to ARC Physical Therapy and Pain Center for
treatment as well.
