Staff Acupuncturist – Mount Dora & Leesburg, Florida

Duties/Responsibilities:

Review patient’s medical history and diagnosis to ascertain symptoms; discuss treatment options; identify correct anatomical point locations and administer treatments using acupuncture therapy and/other acupoint stimulation techniques such as moxibustion or heat therapy, cupping, and/or manual massage; monitor progress of patients; provide counseling and instruction to patients on after-care treatment; prepare and maintain charts and records of patients’ progress; and ensure all safety, quality, environmental, and infection control policies and procedures are followed.

Requirements:

Master’s degree in Acupuncture or Oriental Medicine.  Must have an Acupuncture license in Florida and completed an Acupuncture Point (aka Acupoint) Injection Therapy certification course.
